Dispute letter for student loan reporting errors
Use this when student loan balances, statuses, or payment history are inaccurate.
When to use this template
- Loans in deferment, forbearance or an income-driven plan are reported as delinquent.
- A discharged or paid loan still shows a balance.
- The same loan appears multiple times after a servicer transfer.
